COPY OF MY BULLETIN FROM MYSPACE; I wanted to let all my friends now that I just finished writing my 5th short story now on Writing.com; "Secret Affair"
I am a Registered Author on there now, and I have some professionals reading my work. I am still in a state of shock however! I have been making up stories and writing them down for years now. I was always afraid to share them, I didn't think they were good enough. I also was kind of afraid to share them since many of them contain extreme graphic content.
Well at writing.com they have just the rating system to fit my work. I can now share my work live on the internet. All of my short stories are now copyrighted and published by writing.com! There is a professional membership level there that is way to expensive for me to afford per year. I am an Upgraded Member there though now thanks to another Author.
Someone there read my work and thought for a new writer that is was great. This prompted them to pay for my Upgraded Membership! They wished me luck and said; "I hope this helps" to me. I am very proud of myself, sorry to brag, but they say everyone is good at something in life. Well I questioned this for many years, just about my whole life actually. I guess now I finally found something I am good at!
The site is great to belong to as well. You can write any kind of material you want, and if they approve it after reviewing it, they will copyright it and publish it. I am not looking to make any money for my writing! I am just a beginner, or as they say at Writing.com; A Newbie! However one day who knows? Maybe the right person will see my work and contact me about writing a full length book? This is my dream, and I hope one day to succeed at this!
I was also thinking, they have books out called Anthologies. If I were to write 10 short stories, they could be combined into Chapters. Maybe one day this will turn into a great selling horror anthology book?
IN CLOSING; I HAVE TO THANK THE PERSON WHO INSPIRED ME TO SHARE MY WORK. I QUOTE HER ADVICE TO ME; "NEVER GIVE UP, CONTINUE TO PEN THE PAIN!" (Charlotte Emma Gledson) wrote this to me. She has been a great friend to me now for more than a year! She is an accomplished and professional writer. She writes horror as well, and her new book that just came out is one of the Best Sellers on amazon.com! It is called; SINISTER LANDSCAPES! I Just ordered this book and I can not wait to read it. My next purchase will be from another one of my myspace friends named; T.G. Reaper! He is also a professional and accomplished Author. I already added his book to my Wish List at AMAZON.COM! It is called; EMPTY GRAVES! So if your into horror, short stories, or regular novels? CHECK OUT MY FRIENDS BOOKS! I AM PROUD OF THEM, IT IS ACCOMPLISHED AUTHOR'S LIKE THAT WHO INSPIRE ME TO SHARE MY THOUGHTS!
